A friend passed me this great list by life coach Michele Christensen:
The Ten Biggest Spiritual Mistakes We Make In Business
1) Attaching our Identity to our business, our success, our money or our image.
2) Thinking we are separate from others and therefore, alone
3) Believing we’re in control…or ought to be
4) Trying to avoid failure (Maryam’s Note: Remember, "there is no failure - only feedback!")
5) Stopping when we get scared
6) Not recognizing the business as our greatest teacher
7) Moving foward one step at a time
Taking the ups and downs too literally
9) Not making business a spiritual practice
10) Only starting what we think we can finish
As a meditator, I find this list interesting, as meditation is one of the sovereign remedies for most of these problems.
