Breasts & Baby Harp Seals
You can prevent the clubbing deaths of baby harp seals in Canada with a simple click of your mouse….and while you’re at it, prevent domestic violence, breast cancer, illiteracy, rare animal extinction and other preventable atrocities, deficiencies and health problems.
You can do this JUST BY CLICKING on special donation links - you don’t have to give a cent! These clicks are subsidised by companies who advertise on the sites, but you don’t have to buy from them if you don’t want to. (though it’s nice to support the sponsors of causes you support when you can) Simply click the "Click To Donate" icons at Donation Junction:
http://www.donationjunction.com/
and Care2:
http://www.care2.com/click2donate/
Often these links will be presented four or five on a page. Once you’ve clicked one, press your browser’s "Back" button and click on the remaining links. Click to donate at every link you can find on these sites. Average time to click them all: 2 minutes.
I just had my mammogram last week - if you’re over 40, you need to get at least a baseline mammogram…now. But if you can’t afford one, you can get one free at the BreastCancer site. You can click to donate a free mammogram to women who can’t afford them here (and thanks Veronika for the head’s up!):

This last site has a "climb for the cure" theme - a mountain expedition for breast cancer survivors up California’s beautiful Mt. Shasta. Read about it here:

Shockingly, the site states: 7212964 people have been diagnosed with breast cancer since 5/11/01. My mother, grandmother and aunt died of it. I don’t intend to. Educate Yourself!
