Samhain to All…">A Blessed Samhain to All…

This is the one night of the year that neo-Pagans, Wiccans, Druids and others who look into the world of spirit, can commune directly with their beloved dearly departed. I wish all of the old faiths a very satisfying and fulfilling Samhain. Fly high, fly free!
In moments, my family will prepare a White Supper to share with our dearly departed, similar to the way Mexican families in our area take picnics to the graveyard in celebration of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This one time a year we can eat with and rejoice in the company of our deceased, in spirit at least, both the long dead and those who have just passed on this year. We rejoice in reuniting with those long gone like my grandmother and mother, and my husband’s mother, and have a chance for a final goodbye and let go of those just recently gone. In February, you may remember that my beloved Maine Coon ladycat The Biscuit departed this earth plane, as well as my spiritual father and shamanic mentor, (Corliss R.) “d” deLarm in January. Tonight the drums will sound deep in the darkness and plates heaped high with white foods for the Beloved Dead will go uneaten…by living humans. Tonight we will scry for deeper meaning and the future. Tonight wyrd will be woven.
A Hail to the Mighty Dead - from whom we come and into whose arms we all will go. Peace be unto them, may they proceed to fuller and richer lives. Peace be unto us all!
And a Blessed Samhain….
