Listening To Genius

Life is so precious. It sounds corny and easy to say, but it is so true. I have had a precious gift this past week of a bodily cleanse that seized control of my breathing and reduced my oxygen intake dramatically, placing me in the hospital for a period. I couldn’t walk to the bathroom without gasping and needing to sit down halfway. I thought I might not make it through this period alive. After a few days spent being bitter about the inconvenience of yet-another illness/cleanse and hating the fact that I had to take medication I did not wish to, I took hold of the situation and took inventory of my life.
